I totally understand that...it's just hard to commit the time, especially like you I'm a painter first, I want to drive more but darn it i just end up painting..I also get so tempted to start an Offline series myself, I'm good at it, i know how to make it interesting and entertaining, but I have way too many projects going that would make it impossible to devote the kind of time that an Offline series demandsI may cancel mine as I am mainly a painter, not a racerI've wanted to do season so badly, but I prefer to do one off races.
Whatever happened to getting a job to raise the money to achieve your goals? Stuff like this just makes my blood boil.

I've been working full time since I was 18, even went to college and still managed a full time job. Kids these days have everything handed to them, they don't know what it's like to have to work for what you want. Really sad.....
I worked 30 plus hours a week in high school, I just don't get this hand shit to your kids mentality. I didn't much right with my kids, but I did teach them if they want something they have to earn it.
I look at my generation and frown thinking, "where did we go wrong?" The hardworking kind is becoming rarer and rarer each year.. At least my parents had a good work ethic and that has rubbed off on me. Everybody thinks of their kids as little angels who can't do anything wrong, and deserve all they desire, and anyone saying anything bad about them is offensive. Then when they get out into the world they can't do anything because they have no discipline. Me, and my family can't understand why people do this either, nothing will ever be handed to anybody on a silver platter, but each generation people seem to be getting stupider and stupider!
I work at a local manufacturer, you should try training these kids, all they have to do is put 3 panels on using 12 screws fast. It took me all of 5 minutes to learn this and I don't have a manufacturing background, these kids can't pick it up in 3 days and beg for help because the job is so hard. I put stickers on the access panel and put them on and these kids say they your job is easy, I say have a go and they can't do it!
Hell, I'm 21 and don't have a license or a job. My Asperger's and ADHD have seen to that. Not to mention whenever I get behind the wheel I get shot up on nerves to the point where I clam up.
My son has autism and I expect he will never have a license, let alone remember who I am since his mother ran off with him when he was 3. When we grip about young people we're not including special needs kids(I hate that term) we're talking about the "normal" kids as society calls them. The one who can do for themselves, but can't.
We did have a kid with asperger's last year and no one tried harder then anyone, I have no idea why they didn't hire him other them he didn't get along with others, which I know is all part of asperger's.

You'd be pleasantly surprised how many online forumers I know with it, you are far from alone.
Which, most of the time, the ones with Asperger's and Autism come up with some of the most creative things, and amazing creations. ------------------------
