Next time your "significant other" says you are too carried away with sim racing, show them this video....
The guy is wearing a firesuit? REALLY? That's immersion... I guess he's worried about a rollover and fire....LOL

Not gonna lie, if I had a NASCAR-type firesuit, I'd totally wear it while playing. I occasionally wear racing type gloves in order to keep sweat and stuff off my wheel.

Damn!... Wouldn't it be nice if we could get a NASCAR racing sim that looks like Assetto Corsa?! Those graphics are "off-the-charts" good!

While it's certainly no NR2003, I honestly don't get why NASCAR Sim-Racing from EA gets so much hate. Thing is enjoyable to race, if not a bit-arcade-y

Woke up to a freshly updated and unusable PC once again...this time it's in a repair loop....useless

I'm done with W10, I'm going back to W7...

Unfortunately I don't have the binary luck that many seem to be enjoying, I have no problem with W10 when it works but for the second time in less than 60 days I'm having to start from scratch with a clean install...

The stupid Cooler Master 750M PSU has proprietary plugs instead of standard miles plugs so it is a pain to get everything hooked up. So I'll be swapping that out as well.

All in all I'm going to do a minor rebuild of my PC with eyes toward a complete rebuild in February....

So for a while I'm out of commission once again....

This is all very trivial when I consider what Iceman is facing...

I just wanted to let everyone know what's going on with my virtual world...

Pray for Scott!

Prayers for Scott, you really have a big heart for putting his problems ahead of yours, god bless.

I hope you figure out the PC issues soon, I am going back to Windows 7 myself soon, best of luck my friend!

Had some brake squeal in my rear discs on the old Subaru, so I swapped them out this morning...actually the first time I did the rears myself...they look like motorcycle pads, tiny!

So I get them done and take it out for a spin and the fronts start to sing a little....so I ran over to the Zone to grab some front pads...just giving the car some time to cool a little before I drag out the floor jack and brake tools to pop them on.

At the AutoZone a guy was buying some plugs for his '78 GMC P/U with a 350...the store only had one choice for the old girl...Man does that make me feel old! AND all he bought was 8 plugs and it came to $29! Yep I'm a dinosaur...

Windows 7 now up and running on my machine....It looks so odd to me now, time to get comfortable with it again...Odd how something can go from normal to strange like that.

Lots of work to do now...Ugh

Apparently my Corel Video Studio Pro X5 wasn't compatible with Windows 10....so we had to buy the upgrade to X9...I made them bend over pretty good to buy another upgrade...twenty bucks was as low as i could get them, not bad...

On the 3dsMax front, it looks like I can no longer download anything before Max 2014...but I can get up to the current model Max 2017...

That is the only thing bad about Autodesk, they take the old versions away and only leave you with the new. I prefer 2013 myself.

Looking through the "Offline Leagues" threads...I have to say I doubt seriously that 10% of them will actually happen...having run almost 100 different Offline Series over the past 8 or 9 years, I can tell you that most people don't understand the level of the time and energy commitment and fail to follow through...
