Do away with Charters and all cars have to qualify.... be better of course if there was an excess of 40 cars of course
i would like to remove stage racing and have it where you gain 5 points for every lap lead
yes, this would be interestingLead loads of laps at Bristol and win the championship?
Everytime I hear that, I think of a NASCAR that races FWD 4 and 6 cylinder cars in the 90's, since those were the models being correlated on track. Would probably piss off the purists more than the NextGen is planned to.The only change I would make would be the return of real stock cars.
The whole stock cars thing would probably piss off the purists even more, since modern cars are a FAR cry from the 1960's Fairlane based technology origin that underpins NASCAR machines today.
Even then, you run into a whole host of parity and BoP complaints.
You have either reinvented:
- NASCAR
- Supercars
- GT300 in Super GT
- WTCC (TCR)
- BTCC
Pick one.
What do all of you think about common engines - Like in the truck series where they all race Chevy engines. It's coming to the CUP series soon I feel, maybe with the Next Gen Car.
The BTCC provides a crate engine in lieu of the manufacturer not providing one.
Super GT in GT300 has a debranded V8 that looks suspiciously like a VK45.
Technically the Supercars will allow you to debrand an engine and put it into another car; which might be the case at Kelly Grove Racing?
It's fine. Nobody from the outside can see what magic hamsters are under the hood.
