@DaleTona IMO you could go darker on the bodylines as they are panel gaps.
Maybe I could make them darker, but they are already darker than S&G's 2004 Intrepid for thier cup mod, and around on par with the Brian Simpson 2004 template. I'm pretty happy with them as is compared to people who are much more talented in the art of template creation than I am.

If your're using 100% black at 1px for the black, are you doing the same for the white? Is the highlight area just a drop shadow or what? I've never quite gotten it right on the few templates I have made over the years. Trying to get the right balance of highlight vs shading to show on both dark and light cars. I it a blended effect or just 2 layers just offset slightly and merged?

Over the years I used 1 px white at overlay for highlight edges but lately I've used soft light. Then add 'Sun Spots' and other highlight areas.

I love the colors!

Honestly - it's my personal opinion that with the change to the position of the numbers that is happening for '22 - NASCAR needs to go for something more like a WRC inspired offical placard with the car number and driver name. That way you don't need to worry about cramming the number in there ahead of the sponsor decals and it really allows them to make the entire side of the car one cohesive livery.

I partly agree.

For years... loved the BTCC style of number sign (up to '10):

Wasn't a fan when they went to a smaller number allowing more sponsor space ('11+):

However, there was a time when the FIA removed the Co-Driver name from the WRC window for driver only and the fans hated it, lol.

I think NASCAR should go with something like this for the side numbers. Combining the series logo and number would look better than those big numbers moved forward.
