Rick Hendrick isn't up for the challenge a Bubba would bring, look how long Kyle Busch lasted

If I recall correctly, Kyle Busch was not liked by anyone at HMS, and got into a lot of fights with the team members and other drivers. As much as he bugs me I think his age and experience over the years have tempered him a lot. I remember his brother going through something similar in the beginning as well.

I think we can discuss this everyday until an announcement is made, we all have made good points. It will be interesting to see what really happens. I still think Bubba is heading to the 42. Do You think Hendricks gives Larson a try? or is it to early?

I agree, the 42 ...ironically looks like his new home

No.
It is the as yet unnamed Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan-owned team.

The Jordan-Hamlin ownership group indicated that the organization’s name, manufacturer affiliation, car number, sponsors and other details would be announced later. The group indicated that it struck an agreement to acquire the team charter from Germain Racing.
- NASCAR, 21st Sep 2020

Car Number announced later? Yeah right. There's no way that it's going to be #45 because of Adam Petty; besides which #23 is the number which Jordan is famous for.

I didn't get it wrong I said noway to the 48 or Gibbs, and don't tell me this counts as a Gibbs car, it is a 5th car but MJ is a new car
Man, I bet Jones feels extra kicked. He got booted because he was the "least talent" of 4 teams with 5 drivers. Now it turns out there is (sort of, for all you that immediately tell me it isn't a Gibbs team) a 5th team in the works and they got a whole other driver for it. Don't get me wrong, there is more to it than that, but still. Ouch.

Hopefully the lad will land somewhere with some decent equipment, but this is the story in NASCAR, we'll never know who "coulda been a contenda" Only the top teams with the best equipment and drivers with enough growing time can reach the top...
