    The only time I saw @Highbank on the track was right before the rest of the field, i.e. the AI pitted. rFactor 2018-08-09 12-09-45-02.jpg

    ai are predictable, in sim racing ai, you just find their line and not use it for passing...oddly enough when track makers make the ai racing lines they seldom actually take the best line, another odd thing about sim racing content...

    It's two hours, not two laps, so there is plenty of time to be patient. Everytime I get in a hurry bad things happen...whether that be because I cause it or because I forget that ai is dumb. AI is dumb, remembering that can save you lots of headaches...in road racing like Tigg said, you protect your car at all cost. Let them go, back off, don't push bad situations, give them their line because they do not see you, for the most part.

    You're in their way, especially the prototypes, just get out of their way and let them go by as fast as possible.

    You guys are losing me.. Are we trying to make excuses for the crummy AI or teach Mick the basics of road racing? Cause let me tell ya, on the 2nd part, I've got it covered.. ;)x'D:angel:

    Have you not watched this series? The AI isn't that far off from the real thing, LOL!

    So, I copied 70 or so "Cory Daily's" to the GameData\Talent\VECH_EU folder, then changed all their filenames to match the drivers in the VECH_EU mod.. Only problem is, when you open the .rcd files, they all still say "Cory Daily" (inside) at the top?? Is that going to screw up the game or does it just look at the file name and #'s inside?? Thanks for the help BLMG, I'll make honest road racers out of these lazy asses yet! :angel:x'D

    You have to use the Talent Editor and create a new one for each driver, file name edits won't work...you're gonna make me do this aren't you...?

    So changing CoryDaily.rcd (the actual file from the talent folder) to SlowJoe.rcd won't make SlowJoe a better AI driver?? :(

    I already created a file for everyone with "Talent Editor", but then I overwrote all of them with CoryDaily's.. :happyblush… I mean.. :confounded:

    But that leg work has been done.. I've got all them "random" grannies, safe and sound.. :angel: (if ya need em') lol

    The mod rfm file must also point to the a TUSCC Talent folder, but you have to create an actual Talent file for Joe, there is a name in that file too so just changing the name of the file doesn't give Joe a Talent file...I'll make up a rfm so we can add Talent files for this mod...

    wait when you say you made a talent file for everyone, which everyone? All the drivers in the mod?

    Yea, every #1 driver in the mod (all cars inside the GameData\Vehicles\VECH_EU) all classes.. I used the Talent Editor and the "random" button to generate the #'s.. But if you're going to use them, and start editing all the "reputation, speed, recovery, etc. #'s, just use the ones I created with CoryDailey's #'s.. They're the same as the Talent Editor ones, but with better #'s..

    Im still not sure I follow though. I didn't do anything with rfm files and when I ran against the generated .rcd drivers I could tell a marked difference.. They ran fine but were slow.. Then I ran all the CoryDaily guys for a few laps last night and they were also good, as well as fast. So, it's either my imagination, or the sim recognizes the GameData\Talent\VECH_EU folder I created and the .rcd files inside it?

    Turns out the AI still stink. I had turned the aggression down to 20% and that must of been the difference I noticed.. Put it back to 25%, started a race from 21st, got spun out in turn 1 for not driving through the car ahead of me I guess.. Restarted, made it to turn 5 before I got the bumper.. x'D
