He made most of them. The only template out for GN55 is the Chevy. Any of the cars Jeb made or I did, we made the templates.
Jebrown, Do I have to have the beta for this to work? I can't get this to show up in the game. I made a series folder then a gn55_cts folder then a cars folder. Looks like all the other mod setups but this will not show up in the game. Just let me know what I may be doing wrong. I am old but I have downloaded many mods.I even moved all the mods out of the game and it still will not show. But what I see here of your work looks great.Thanks Don
Don, you will need the mod for this to work. I could post the carset because I made it, but the mod isn't mine. We were originally going to wait until the mod was posted here, but decided to go ahead and put the cars up to help spark interest in the mod and perhaps, speed things up in regards to it's release. I know it's kind of "putting the cart before the horse" but maybe it'll help. My apologies to anyone who downloaded the cars without the mod, but hang on to 'em, it seems the mod may be coming soon, Denis has mentioned it, and there's already a button for it in the download section. (fingers crossed)
Nothing set in stone. It may require a different model, but I may take a swing at it and see how they look.
Jebrown, Thank you for all you have done. I know how hard the work is on a mod. I was a painter on the aero 88 mod years ago. I don't paint anymore as my eye sight is not so good. But both the 55 and 56 car set looks great. I know how hard it is to try to covert a chevy template to other models. it is mostly a problem on the tail lights and back of the car. I don't have a template to work on so I leave it up to others. I also want to thank Dalejrfan95 for his work on cars. Take care, Don Bouquin
Glad to see my favorite mod (GN55) finally released here! Thanks to everyone involved especially @Rioux ,@Bill1947 and @garrett1127 . Also, thanks to everyone who has helped and shown interest in my carsets for it. Here's something I've been working on in carviewer. I still gotta learn to do a proper render.
Yea, those look really good. I know Denis is busy with real life and work but I sure would like to see the 1955 GN mod completely finished with real damage and all. Lets all hope.
Beer wars GN55 style! The 8, 61 and 55 cars are by Highbank. The 2 car is by alfiejay (keep getting better bud!). The 40 and 27 cars are by yours truly. I'm thinking I'll do a few more "beer" cars.
