Hello Stunod, today I would like to introduce a very special project that me and many other amazing content creators have been working on for the last few months.
NCG Promo Image.png

This project is called the NR2003 Carset Group, or NCG for short. This project comes with the focus of making complete quality carsets for NASCAR Racing 2003 Season. Our primary focuses will be on the top 3 NASCAR series for the current season, but we will make carsets from other series and seasons as well. Our first two released are the 2022 Truckset released today by @itsawesome, and the 2022 IndyCar set by @canadienhits. We hope to constantly provide great content to everyone in the NR2003 community.

I also made a document further explaining the project, which will be attached to this message.

Thank You to all the team involved.

It's always great to have a general 'Season' carset of 42+ Cars/Trucks...

This is not a request, as I don't race offline.. but the 1 thing I know many users like (over the years) are 'Race Sets'. Having each & every scheme from a race/event with the .lst to go with.

I can assure you that we will do are best to race constant race carsets for each series. I can also guarantee that those carsets will have roster files with them.

As I mentioned above, this is a tremendous thing for the NR2003 community and we are all excited and grateful for the many talented painters who are contributing in the effort.

The one thing I'd like to suggest is that you come up with a uniform and consistent "naming protocol" for the car files in each set. Something like: "2023_8_MGMBet-LAC_ncg.cup.car", and "2023_9_NAPA-500.cup.car", etc.

year_car number_sponsor-race_ncg.cup.car.

That way the car sets will look more organized and allow us to find them more easily in the respective series folders.

Just a suggestion.

I agree. But gotta be careful to not make the file name too long. IF it gets too long the game won't recognize it. I've had that happen with some of my league schemes. I don't remember the character length though.
My suggestion would be something along the lines of:
23_8_KB MGM-clash.cup.car, 23_8_KB MGM-tona.cup.car, 23_8_KB MGM-mich2.cup.car etc.

If it's a 'Race Set's, would you need the driver initials though?

23_8_clash.cup.car, 23_4_clash.cup.car, 23_19_clash.cup.car etc

We should know the drivers. Maybe include a docs in each race pack with a list of names/schemes?
