Waynesboro, PA is 10 minutes from my house across the PA State Line and if you knew the area you too would wonder how the ever-lovin'-eff a business from there ended up on a NASCAR Cup ride.

Just like when I saw Wholey's show up on the #32 back in 2018. Never thought they'd show up on a NASCAR and it made me do a double take. Didn't think they were big enough to sponsor a NASCAR for a race, let alone, I think they were on the car 3-4 times!

Geoff Bodine has been completed! - (All photos can be clicked on to expand in size) - Threw in a couple Car Viewer images, too.

1992 was Geoff's first year with Bud Moore Engineering the 15 car. Over the course of the 29 race season, Bodine won 2 races back to back late in the season. The first at Martinsville, followed immediately by North Wilkesboro. Along with that, Geoff also started the year off winning the Busch Clash. Despite these great results, Bodine still ended up 16th in points off of 7 top fives and 11 total top tens. This was also the first year since 1982 that Bodine didn't earn at least one pole position. Over the course of the year he DNF'd a total of 7 times. 5 of those were due to engine failures. All in all, it was a great start to his 2 years with Bud Moore. Come 1994, Bodine would begin driving for himself after purchasing Kulwicki's team.

Geoff Bodine was the winner of the Michigan race I went to in 1994. The race that his Brother Todd took out Dale Earnhardt on lap 54. My brother who with me was mad. The same race Ernie Irvan was in injured in practice. Geoff had dominated that day leading 160 laps.

Car looks Great!

I was hoping to have Wally done, today. But, my work meeting was super short (lol). It's missing the gray/black stripes in the white still, but is complete otherwise. Might get her finished tomorrow, though. Either way, figured I'd pass along a progress report. Pictures can be expanded.

@Dr. Noise Looking at the red, does the base need to have a darker tone?

Also, is the extra black line on the number on the inside needed?

* Yes the red seems brighter here.

I tend to make the colors slightly on the brighter side of the range in photos because that's usually how they appear in person. This era the cars were frequently brighter in person than in photos, so I tend to lean towards what makes them pop. The outlining strokes I did were based off a decal sheet, but I can remove them as it appears in these photos they must have decided to not use them.

This is my primary source. It's hard to see but the inner black stripe is present. Outside is not, so I may remove that one. Hood logos should be outlined, but most photos suggest the sides were not. I dunno. I can remove them.

It seems they did both.

You can see the black outline on the text on the sides/rear (but NOT the hood) on the photo above with Mark Martin in it.

However, in the photo with Jack Roush, you can clearly see the black outline on the text on the hood in that one.

So, it looks like there were 'combo' versions out there. lol.

Too many variants! The paintshop needs to keep to a standard of consistency.

What's the odds they changed the paint mix at some point?? LOL

Yeah, with all these variations, I'll probably thin up the number's inner black line a bit, remove the outline stroke around the edge, and just leave the rest alone. It's got some good definition with the sponsor stroke lines I'd prefer to not give up.

Darrell Waltrip is complete. Photo can be clicked/expanded.

1992 ended up being Darrell's last year with a win. He ended up with 3 over the course of the season at Pocono, Bristol, & Darlington. With 10 top 5's and 13 top 10's with one pole, I'd say he had a great year.
