Spoiler is a problem, as some teams have a painted version, and others have clear lexan........what to do hmmmm.
Generally, the lexan spoilers are used on Late Models. However, in the Southeast of the United States, Late Model Stock Cars use a solid piece of metal for the spoiler. The most popular of these cars is the CARS Tour, which do get a painted a lot for NR2003. This is what we've dealt with for the LMPv2. Yet, I don't think it's a big issue for anyone. My suggestion is to just leave it solid and lose the support rods. Might even save you some polys, I guess. We can deal with the spoiler through parts on the template like we've done for 16 years. IF you wanted to get real ambitious, make two mods. Super Late Models with the clear spoiler and offset chassis like the photos I sent which has the smaller cockpit with lots of sheet metal filling the interior. And, a Late Model Stock Car mod with the solid spoiler and a full perimeter chassis like NASCAR racecars. Lose the lexan and supports and I think you'd be fine with one mod. Others can weigh in. But, I don't think it's an issue. Like I said, we've dealt with that dilemma for many years. No problem.
