Seven races in and what do you think of the 2022 NASCAR Cup season...

Is it better or worse than you thought it would be?

I don't know if I can say better or worse, but I will say the racing has been a little better. However I'm not impressed with the cars, the Goodyear Tires need help and the racing at Atlanta was terrible. I know NASCAR has rules, but the penalties are ridiculous for what the infraction is. I have more thoughts, but what do all of you think.

Better. No one team or driver is winning all the races. The current top 3 in points haven't even won a race.

the racing at Atlanta was terrible.

I wouldnt say that, the atlanta race was the best race there in a few years. It was a superspeedway type race but the field was mostly 2 lanes at the start to the middle part of the run, it was better than the 1 lane races at dega and daytona. the finish was really good also.

Twitter seems to be ablaze at William Byron's win at the weekend that saw no passes for the lead in stage 3.

At the same time, Charles Leclerc's grand chelem (win, pole, lead every lap, fastest lap) was hailed as a commanding victory.

I for one am so glad to see Lewis Hamilton struggle even if it is just a bit.
