Camaro isn't the same version.. I installed the "hotfix" Mike posted and now it works.. But Im pretty sure the "car" has been updated since that.. But, I can get on so that's all that matters..

Do you have both versions of your car Paul? (From post #1) Also, I don't know if cars -other- than the one you're driving matter, but there's also a "hotfix" for the camaro. You need to open it manually (with winzip or 7zip or whatever program you have for zip files) and manually drag/extract the data.acd file into the gt4_camaro folder in the game. If that doesn't fix it it's probably something to do with the BMW you're driving.

Congrats Trae and Dave!! Super fun runs!! Sorry Tom for getting into ya the 2nd race.. Oh and congrats Phil!! We got him setup!! *No idea what was wrong, but we'll take credit for fixing it anyway!!

Big, big THANK YOU to @Highbank and @M_Nesevitch and for your time troubleshooting the issue at hand. To recap:
Guerilla Mods' GT4 mod require several prerequisites in order to work. Since most upstanding sim racing enthusiasts like yourselves keep up with the latest and greatest gizmos, it may have not been obviously apparent what the issue was when a noob like me tried to run the mod with plain old dry vanilla AC.
The prerequisites in question are:
- Assetto Corsa Content Manager
- Select official DLC
- Porsche Pack 1
- Ready 2 Race (unconfirmed, but downloaded just in case)
- Dream Pack 1-3 (unconfirmed, but downloaded just in case)
Note: For any forum lurkers who do not already have Assetto Corsa, getting the Ultimate Edition in a single discounted bundle is the best route.
- Install Custom Shaders Pack
- Install SOL
Although all of these updates alone should have fixed the problem, I still had some issues getting into the server used for today's race. A little patience and debugging seemed to have solved it, however. So again, thanks guys.
