Old NASCAR layout, not different then Laguna, no short rest periods, always turning and shifting, another workout.
I would have to disagree with "No different than Laguna Seca" 1:15's are doable at Sears Point. In a completely different way than Laguna Seca 1:28's are. But yes, I see now why Mick has a tippy cup with a lanyard on it.
Your not clicking right, you have to close your left eye, put your tongue to your right cheek and pat your head while clicking. Click your heels and say there is no place like Sonoma... and it will appear. Har.
I noticed one problem I have with these is so much stuff in the way on the windshield. I found my reactions jerking often as that crossed on front of my view, like I would start to try to go around the bar or something. Getting very distracted by those.
Used to have more fun on Laguna...
Just getting anxtified always slipping back from leaders and ending up in the middle of nowhere, and getting lapped on Laguna?! Totally bummed me out...
never happened before back when.
I just could not get on top of it like I used to do on Laguna and get the feeling of being really dialed in and hyper-focused to the cars and track, never got that good hooked in rhythm feeling that I look forward to on favorite tracks. Just pissed myself off a lot.
Then when you do get beside someone, the cars are so flighty it makes me cringe. hard to love the dicing like I used to when it feels like you are just going to wreck who is near you. I love American Muscle feel but these are just too... something.... Can't find that good feeling spot of coming off the corner and giving it gas and having it hook, it just wants to spin or push.
Too bad they did not make these VRC T/A just a tad more stable...

Ooof! Sorry I missed the race. Honestly didn't know we were racing last night. I needed a good night's sleep anyway I suppose.
Anyone miss the days when everyone would hop on the server at once to practice? Miss those days...
How about tomorrow we all jump on for some practice?
I chose the NASCAR layout to make it more fun and less stress.

Probably won't be able to make it, even though I would love to. Our first race weekend is next weekend, and we have to change the brake lines and fluid in Trae's Z06 today.
I'll see if I can make it, but my siblings really want me to play Mario kart and a few other games with them. Since I'm the oldest, I know it means a lot to them when their big brother (me) plays with them
