Extract and put into your main WinMip2 folder.

give the mscomctl all privileges and check tha box that says "this came from another computer etc."

fyi .......it goes in windows syswow64 or 32 whichever you have

Aaaaaaand after a month, it tells me, "Dxtex.exe was not found" whenever I try to save the .car file

Do a web search, it's out there, free to, 0nce you get it, it goes in the system32 folder, then you have to register it in windows.

windows wont let me register ocx files

Hello Gents, Been a while. Ive been asked to make a pace car for a fallen member. We lost Trip back in July, ASRacing is having a race in his name Sun 14th of Sept.
I did get winmp to work in windows 10.
The pace car is blurry the other cars are clean crisp, I did try imported mip to tga in 1024 but still blurry any ideas or help.

Windows doesn't support XP anymore, hasn't for years, you're going to have to do an internet search for it.

You right click on winmip2 exe and choose 'properties'. Then go to compatibility tab and choose XP SP2 if you need it. Then click 'apply'. Next time you run winmip2 it will run in XP SP2 compatibility mode:

I have put the files in win32 and in the winmip folder.
