I remember the site well. Still have their website bookmarked along with others like SAFER Barrier Project, Sunset Racing, The Racing Groove, Tucknut, Short Track Connection, etc. Just nostalgic for the memories of going to the sites each day and downloading as many things as I could. Think I only have 200GB of files for NR2003. I don't have a problem, stop looking at me like that...

I remember downloading car skins for NASCAR Thunder 2004 from BHM.
And paint scheme of Lighting McQueen for NR2003 for default cup, i think using wayback machine you can still download somehow while rest paint schemes are gone forever.

There are some downloads still on the wayback machine but you will go throw a lot of links to find them

BHMS was the first forum I ever registered to. After that it was the US Pits where I used Mr_Too_Slow as a nick (both I and my internet connection were too slow for online racing at the time :p) and then I alternated between the 2. Think all the places where I used MTS are gone now though :(

Yep... been there, enjoyed that.

I was too on the BHMS forum, along with US Pits and don't forget the 'Team Lightspeed' forums.

Also was on the Ol' School 'Sierra' Forums back in the day that had many great posts/threads and content posted.

I was on TLS too but didn't post very much. I remember posting a question about how to make chrome layers (think someone called George something helped out) and then I remember being told off by one of the admins for using implied profanity (pretty sure I remember the phrase I didn't finish but I wont go there) :D

I remember using Blackhole a lot. I grabbed a ton of stuff from there back int he day. Had all the EA Nascar Sim Racing paints from that site. Pulled a lot of GTP stuff too. I think that's where the NR version of the Grand Slam mod was teased (or maybe even beta posted) but was pulled.

BH Motorsports was where I downloaded the demo after watching a NR2003 crash compilation video! Sure have came quite a ways from the demo days; seems like forever ago XD

I definitely remember the site, but I can't honestly remember if/how much I used stuff off of it. It's been too long! lol

BHM came around I think right around the time as the pit wagon, and if I remember right was just finding its footing at that time. I remember it was the first place I went to that was more about the forum and less about the downloads, and I felt it was a really disorganized way of keeping files and information. But of coarse as places like the pitwagon left, BHM hung around and that sort of site is now the common way to run things.

The Pit Wagon (and Forum) was awesome! John Beatty & Kevin King being involved, both in the sim/sport and the community after.
