Good evening, all. Does anyone happen to know where I could find Ward's 2000 CAT Dealers scheme? Ideally, for the Cup 2000 mod. Thank you in advance!

Why not try to paint that one yourself, it would be a very easy one to do.

Ahh crap... here we go... :coldsweat:

I've never been a Cup2000 fan so this is only the first or second time I've genuinely painted a car for this mod. The warp and template breaks are gonna make this a lot more tedious than I expected. Nonetheless...

Everything from here on should be pretty straightforward when it comes to finding associates and contigs. The tough part is finding what's on the back of this car. None of the photos I went through on Getty or Motorsport Images showed the back end, and going through the broadcast isn't much help with how fuzzy these uploads are:

Now, according to the promotional diecast, this is what was on the back, but I have a hard time believing that's the case:

If anyone has any good photos of the back (or the car in general), I'd really appreciate it!

Did he run this scheme more than once? These are pics I have of the car and there are some differences (black trunk, no DEALERS on the hood) compared to the pic of the car in OP.
Since both pics are of the real car one reality must be wrong :p

Edit: guess he ran both if this is correct

Yeah, it ran at both the Bud Shootout and The Winston. The Shootout one had a white decklid and the Mac Tools & DuPont logos were pushed behind the rear wheels:

It shouldn't be too hard to make both variants since almost everything stays the same. There's also a memorial decal on the Winston car, I'm assuming for Adam and Lee Petty.

Color definitely looks like some Petty logo, not sure why it would be on a BDR car though?

As for the variants, after typing out all that's on top of the trunk it's a good thing it can be used for 2 cars :D

Depending on when it was raced, you could probably figure out if it was for Lee or Adam. When somebody passes away, they usually hand out the memorial decals to all of the teams and they put them on their cars.

This should be good enough for the car at the Winston but not sure about the coloring for the shootout. No matter if that part of the trunk is white or yellow the text should be black I think?

Also helps proves that the 'Winston' version needs the taillights added to it, while the Shootout version doesn't need them.
