Are they floating mips?... or floating objects? Can you post a few pics so we can see exactly what you're experiencing?

My experiences with this involve track decals being placed too close to or on top of X-section elevation changes.

The technical term for those are "Trackside Decals" or TSD files. The two surfaces there must be at different angles. IE: Slightly different banking heights. The only fix for it would be to make each section the same height (Most likely not a desired option)) or split the graphic into two pieces and replace it.

I'll try that second option and see if it works out. It's not the end of the world if it's not completely level. Just was wondering if I was doing something wrong or not. I'm still pretty new to sandbox so there is still lots to learn! I appreciate the help!

Think of the TSD as a large billboard. It won't conform to the track, it lies flat. So if you make the TSD cover too much ground that goes across different banking then it will float. In this case, one side of the billboard is lying on the banking of the track, and the other side of the billboard is lying near the edge of the white painted grass.

Can you share what your current TSD file looks like? Just from the photos, it looks like you should be able to get the TSD to work with minimal to no floating. The "billboard" that I just mentioned is the size of the mip, not the size of the yellow box in Sandbox. So if you can minimize the blank space in your mip, then when you place it in the track you know that the logo is taking up only the space the logo requires. If your logo fits in the space of that apron, which it looks like it does although it's close, then you minimize the square footage the TSD requires. Hope that makes sense, it's difficult to explain.

Something else you could try and reuse the blue paint trackmat mip and put your logo on there. Then you should be able to resize the mapping to that it's large enough for what you want.

It seems like that there was too much blank space in the mip. It is laying flat on the apron now. I appreciate the help and explanation. You explained it perfectly. Thank you!
