Shot in the dark ncr4 question

Can anyone explain the exact steps to placing a car in NS4 from the second you complete it in GIMP? So how to save it in GIMP. Where to send it and how to load it again. I seem to have invalid file errors. But I can paint the car.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Or maybe I can post the car I want and someone can place it in a file to be loaded into the cars directory.

First you haft to save your paint as a 24 bit tga

does this apply in painting the 2003 cars as well? So far in youtube videos for the painting I have not seen anyone do this. I know in nascar racing 3 using pantshop pro you had to load the color palette. But I cannot see where to change it in GIMP.
