So i made a track and i used this tutorial to make it :
View: https://youtu.be/0c6FSikkyr4

My issue is that when i try to race the track in NR2003 it cancels the weekend

i already removed the .lp files and changed the names from the track i used to "Carsland Speedway"

the .zip file has the track and all the tools i used to make it, now im hoping someone can go through some of the files and the sandbox track file itself and find out why it isnt working in NR2003

Here is a picture of the track, its definitely still a work in progressCarsland Speedway - Sandbox 10_10_2020 11_35_54 AM.png

Take another look at the names of your files.
Your .cam is named wrong. Your .dat is named wrong. The .ptf inside the "new folder" (which I'm assuming is your .dat unpack stuff) is also named wrong.

Whatever says coca_cola should basically be renamed to carsland_speedway.

In "New Folder",
- I renamed coca_cola.ptf to carsland speedway.ptf.
- Deleted coca_cola.dat.
- Create a new .dat file using an application called "MakeDat.exe".
- Put that new .dat that is created back in the main folder.

In the main folder,
- Renamed coca_cola.cam to carsland speedway.cam
- Deleted coca_cola.ptf.

Worked for me.

Yes.
I believe the MakeDat names the .dat for you based on the name of the folder. So if you rename your folder you shouldn't have to worry about it anymore.
Also note that when you want to make a new version, I believe you have to delete the old .dat first before running the MakeDat again. I don't know that it overwrites successfully.

JRock explains this process in one of his videos: Packing and Unpacking

I could, but I'd rather have you figure it out. I'm not going to build your track for you so there's some things you're going to have to learn. This is the simplest part of creating a track. I gave you all the steps. There are now two tutorials in front of you as well.

Only other thing I can think of it to make sure you have all the necessary shared folder items. If your track is using shared folder items that you don't have, its not going to work.

No, you're either missing steps that were provided or you're doing something funky in between. From what I could tell your track.ini is fine. I didn't touch it and it worked for me.

After following those steps that I provided to you, I got it to work. There was no magic voodoo involved.

You also have the tutorial you posted yourself that you said you were following. In the video, the guy goes over this very topic which I know you didn't follow because of the folder you shared didn't have anything renamed, even after you said you renamed it.

I also provided a second tutorial that goes over the same topic from JRock.

So there are three things in this thread that tell you step by step how to get it to work. If you truly are doing everything correctly, then we need more information as to what else you're doing.

If you don't have "MakeDat.exe", you need it. I've attached it to this post.

Do you know what physics you are using? I'm not positive, but if you're using something like cts physics I think it's required that you have a fast.cts.sim setup in there as well.
