rFactor Hot Lapping: SRF @ Willow Springs

Yea, I know nothing of this place, but it did run a little weird.. Like no brake markers getting into turn 1? Where is the 3, 2, 1 signage? That, with my laptop not being the best graphically, it'd still be drawing some of the track ahead, as I'm needing to start braking..

Note: That's a sweet lookin car and screen shot Bill!! Every time I enter the replay "fridge", my car doesn't look very crisp? If I just hit "R" (replay) while in practice it looks fine (but doesn't have any lap/sector time info displayed) but from the fridge just doesn't have the HD quality like yours.

In the replay fridge is says something to the effect of how you want the replays safe as far as quality, save at full or higher. I pretty much run with the graphics at Basic and before I go to the fridge I up it to max, unlike NR2003 the quality of the replay will be better than when on track. RF takes some getting used to as how to set up for graphics. keep playing with it and soon you'll have what you want.

I maxed all the "display" choices and in replay I picked "Fidelity = Full".. But this is what I get on a replay? (Could it be you guys are using a higher quality "skin" for a paintjob?) Or are there some other ini file edits maybe?) I've editing the .plr file to export replays in 1080x720 (or something HD)
BTW, my CRS was acting up.. It's actually Laguna Seca that I couldn't see T1 and no brake markers..

Bill, nice recon! Where can I get the #51 paintjob/skin you used for your hotlap? (just to compare, I wont use it online)

What's funny is that when i dropped the flat into this install of rF it didn't go onto the car quite correctly...but there it is, I added it to the post above.

Just drop the contents of the folder into your "Teams" folder inside the Vehicles/SRF folder

Thanks! It installed fine, still looked blurry in replay fridge.. I turned up the "opponent" setting to "Full" in the view settings (only one that wasn't on max/full) and it looks quite a bit better now? Not sure what opponent has to do with it, but seems to of helped..

You guys may want to try and find the GTR2 updated version by Zwiss and then add Zipdrive's updated objects and textures pack.

Granted the track is the GTR2 NFS conversion (by Senormen), but Zwiss removed all the extra NFS garbage, added and changed a lot to get the track to at least look more like the real thing. Then Zipdrive went a step further and edited some textures and objects to make it look more like it's current state. At least now it gives the illusion of being Willow Springs.
