Im up for a good slip-n-slide as much as the next guy, but come on..
Tips:
Don't downshift too early, you'll crash..
Don't give a full squirt with the wheel turned, you'll crash..
Don't over drive ANY corner, you'll crash..
Don't run with the AI, you'll get your feelings hurt.. Then you'll crash!

In my experience with these mods if you put 2 or 3 clicks of wing, front and rear you lessen that crash effect without giving up speed. I haven't run this yet.

@M_Nesevitch Go into vehicle upgrade and choose the second or third options, way less snappy. I just ran a 1:38 without to much effort with the second choice in Mario's Lotus 78/R3, I'm still learning the car and track, so look out!LOL!

All I see in upgrades (before you enter the track) are Power Steering (assist) Arms on wheel and Paddle shifters.. Unless Im looking in the wrong place, they don't seem like much anyway.. (and I don't use assists) I think you just turned a good lap! Keep at it, it's not impossible or anything, just a little silly for having tires that wide and spoilers that big, imo..

Right.. But I have all that stuff turned off in the "difficulty" settings.. Im just trying to figure out what you did to make the car less snappy? You lowered steering assist?

This is in the mod and not part of the Sims system, go ahead and buy the second or third choice and see what happens.
