I was thinking it looked more like the Nesquik splash on the 10 BGN car from the early 2000s
Another car off of my Bucket list of cars I always wanted to re-create. I had no idea that finding good clean bits of the graphics were going to be so bloody difficult. There was a ton... and I mean a TON of cleanup work and image repairing to get this right. I'm not 100% happy with the results but I will accept that without the original art in a clean and clear high res it's just going to be a little off. Since it's not a direct Jeff Burton duplicate and instead for me to run in my league, I think this is perfectly acceptable.
Still working on the Cup98 version of the 94 car. But decided to make this my Throwback car for this week's Monday's of Thunder race at North Wilkesboro.
I decided I wanted to run a fun scheme for my Birthday this coming week. SO, thanks to Slipster17's help I put together this semi-throwback in celebration. This was the #9 Cartoon Network Happy Birthday Nascar scheme driven by Lake Speed.
Credit to Slipster for the vast bulk of this design. He made the base and the characters for the Cup98 mod and was kind enough to share with me and let me convert for this project.
Numbers and additional logos by me. Renders by me utilizing James Hodges great scenes. Thank you for putting these together for all of us.

Love how you incorporated throwback speed lines on the numbers as well as the cake splatter. The colors of this scheme have always made me happy to see!

Another fun one today. Tonight our league (Monday's of Thunder) will be running a Race for a Cause theme night and it will be broadcast on JTN. I decided that since teams always do Breast Cancer... Because I mean, Why not right? Like... Save the Boobies!
But I decided to go a different direction and raise awareness for Testicular cancer. Because obviously Nuts Matter Too! - LOL
Anyways, I think this car, as clean as the scheme is, just looks FAST! I hope it is for me tonight.

When my wife got breast cancer we got into the F*ck Cancer stuff, but something tells me that won't go over well on a NASCAR race car. This is great!
Yeah I have been in that mode too. back in 2016, my mom, and 2 aunts all got breast cancer diagnoses in the span of about 1 month. All of them in their right one and so they created the "Right Club" because they were always right and their SO's had better acknowledge them! - LOL
They all beat it.
I sincerely hope your wife is doing well and has or will beat it.
That's awesome! Supporting one another is a big part of it, which is why it is so cool to see stuff like this not only from ppl with interest, but out in every day life. My wife is doing great, thank you! She beat it a few years ago and is off all medications now.
The Base was originally designed by Ryan Daley. I swiped the base from Paint By Rah and modified it a bit to fit my needs. FCRD standard template, my numbers, Script logo by me based off the Pitt logo from their helmet and split face logo from the Pitt State website. NIAA and D2 logos from the D2football.com website.
Pitt State is my Alma Matter and they have went 10-0 thus far this year and won the MIAA conference title outright for the first time in several years effectively locking them into the D2 playoffs. They were 2011 National Champions and I think they can do it again.

Another new car for me this year. This will be a throwback scheme for my league at some point this season. Based off of Kyle Petty's 2005?? special scheme. This was kinda always on my bucket list to make but I never got the umpff to take the time to re-draw the characters. I was slow at work so I decided why not and drew them out. Fully Vectored characters. The Figured Out Toys logo is my side bisuness. I buy and sell vintage toys at events like Comic Con and Toy Shows around my region.
