That stinks Tigg - sorry to hear that.I've built models since I was like 6 or 8, I've built everything and I mean everything. I quit a few years ago when it pretty much became impossible for me to hold a paint brush.
I feel like I'm finally at that point where I have the time, knowledge, skill and patience to blow everything I built while in my teens out of the water, lol. Lord knows I certainly learned tons of ways how-not-to-do-things over the years!I don't the days, i often think about getting back into it

Bringing this thread back from the dead - who all builds plastic models around here nowadays?
I've been building on and off since I was 8 (38 now). In the midst of a bit of a Renaissance with a couple late 90s cars that should be super fun to work on! These are custom builds - not box stock kits.
I've had and built one of these in the 2000s! The outside of the car was very well done! But all the internal parts were bad and full of burrs. Maybe it was bad luck...Growing up, my favorite Hobby Shop had a display of Ploar Lights NASCAR Torinos, Daytona, and Superbirds on a track...I always wanted to replicate that....never did still might

From my looking around in various modeling fourms/groups, that seems to be a very common problem amongst modelers. More kits than you have time to build, and so many projects you want to do you can't get to them all.I have many, many 1/24 Revell Nascar kits I've not started.
I have many, many 1/24 & 1/20 Tamiya kits I've not started.
I have many, many 1/12 Tamiya kits I've not started.
I have a 1/12 Revell Mustang kit I've started...
