Hi everyone! The name's Tim and I am new around here.
I used to be really involved in the NR2003 community back when the game first came out (I started with NR4). I was in high school at the time and couldn't afford a good gaming PC or a steering wheel or anything like that so I got really into painting the cars. I started making templates for some of the trucks and a few resources here and there.
I remember working on the 2003ish Silverado and F150 and I believe the Tundra when it first went to the truck series. I don't even remember my username from back then, but after some digging, I think it was Timmay87. I think.
Man, I wish I could find those old files. I went off to college and kind of fell out of the community but I did become a graphic designer (partially due to all of the photoshop work I did for the game). Fast forward 15 years and I recently discovered that the community was still going! Things have definitely changed, but I'm excited to get back into it. And I have a wheel now! But I am still a terrible driver, so I think I'll keep sticking to painting.
Anyway, see y'all around!
Tim
Edit: Oh man, it's all coming back to me. After more digging on the internet, I remembered that I painted for TFR Detail Shop. And I used my real name...because...internet privacy was different back then, haha.
