It's those downhill turns that get me, I'm ok with the "Moss" complex turns but the downhills just make me whoa it up...

Yep, you break it loose getting into one of those fast downhillers and you're toast. Turn 1 as well, but coming off..

Sorry that I havent been running laps fellas. I had quite the fender bender up in Silver Lake Sand Dunes. My poor little renegade got railed by a dune buggy and I jammed my knee into the dash. Good news is everyone else was fine but the guy in the buggy insisted it was not his fault that he flew up the hill doing 50 and all four of his tires left the ground and didnt see the bright yellow jeep on top of the hill doing 5 mph. What really didint help him was that his plate no. was "jmpnjack".
Long story short insurance covered it. "jumping jack" got a ticket, and I have a loaner vehicle for now lol x'D
Cant wait to get some more hot lapping in soon!

I have troubles keeping grip at the top of hills as well when you go onto the hill to fast the weight gets lifted off the car and it losses LOTS of grip and could send you into the tire barrier quicker than you think, what i usually do is move the car waaay over to the outside of the corner let off just enough to keep grip (which takes time to get down on the several hills this track has, you cant mash the gas over these hills unless youre in an indy car, this is a 3500 lb stock car) until the nose of the car starts to go down then I ease onto the accelerator and shoot to the inside at the start of the turn and swing it out to the outside when you exit the turn before the tires spin and intll prevent any fishtailing, and if you go off track a little into that first hill turn it wont hurt your time a bit, just prevent that tokyo drift style fish tailing into the turns and itll improve the times exponentially. Its one of those tracks where its right in between "slow is fast" and crazy fast looping turns which makes it so unique and my favorite and one of my most favorite roadies.

"I have troubles keeping grip at the top of hills as well when you go onto the hill to fast the weight gets lifted off the car and it losses LOTS of grip"

THAT is the secret of running courses with elevation changes. You MUST get off the power when the car gets light or you'll lose it when that power gets back on the surface in the "heavy" car...

Now one thing you can do is "hunt" for an alternative line where that effect is perhaps lessened even a touch, oddly you find that these spots are great passing zones in many cases. but you have to be very aware of where you can take advantage of the better line and hope it isn't the path of an out of control car that is suffering for having stayed in the go pedal too long in these areas.
