Ok, here's one I'm going to dust off the 'ol wheel (controller) for. Daytona/Darlington are tied at the top of my NASCAR Bucket List. So much history. I love Southern 500 Week!

All about the out lap.. Getting speed off turn 4 to take the green. By lap 2 the tires are already giving up.. Feels weird to try hot laps with the fast setup, but it is what it is.. Tires be damned!!

Of course my out lap had to be my fastest. This place eats tires more than Atlanta and Bristol combined.

Best I could do after a few attempts, could get faster, but I keep nailing the outside wall, and chasing the car around the racetrack, especially entry-mid corner. Also the racing surface is hella narrow, so I had little wiggle room for maneuvering. If ya get in the wall in turn 4, your car WILL lose 30-40 MPH and be glued to it like a magnet. Does not help the car does not wan't to turn on corner exit. If you have to lift on corner exit, that's a problem.

But then again, I suck a can of cold hard sardines, so what did ya expect

Almost wrecked off turn 4 a few times, but put down some solid laps in the #18 machine (My favorite paint scheme of all time!). Darlington is one of my favorite tracks in NR2003 and real life!
