I recently acquired a Moza R12 DD Wheel and I am astounded at the difference it is providing in all my sim racing and especially in NR2003. I have been sim racing for the best part of 30 years, and this wheel has changed everything. I have only had it for a few days and I have created a really good profile for NR2003 in the wheel settings software. I had a race at Texas today that was incredible. The wheel creates the illusion of the car's weight. I have never driven a NASCAR and never will, but I have read that they are heavy to steer and difficult to drive. The wheel gives the feeling of holding a heavy car against ploughing into the outside wall at every corner exit. My arms are still aching. The tyre feeling on the track surface is so good that I can feel a slide starting and use the throttle to keep the car pointed in the right direction.
I know NR2003, being an old game, does not have high quality force feedback, but the Moza software package allows the creation of a profile that totally overrides the game's force feedback, In short, the DD Wheel is probably the best thing I have purchased for a long time. Have others had similar experience with DD Wheels?
