I completely agree, I was trying to find something between cars and trucks.
I believe in Ute superiority

Unfortunately Utes don't exist in America. The closest thing we have are the smaller pickup trucks like the Chevy Colorado or Ford Ranger

Unfortunately Utes don't exist in America.

They're never going to exist here anymore either as we don't have a car industry any more.

I don't know if they can exist in America in future either, as Ford, GM and Chrysler all appear to have abandoned sedans for the most part.

I doubt abandoning sedans will last forever, it was a decision largely based on public demand for either trucks, SUVs, sports cars or compact cars. There was still a demand for sedans but it was the easiest to cut. If gas trends stay high (or highish even) over a long period the sedan will likely make a return. Also, electric cars are fairly common as sedan size vehicles, so it is possible their return will be another big step in the shift toward electric cars.
