Hey guys, I'm "new" to the whole modding NR2003 scene.
Let me very quickly explain what I want to do, that way if doing this isn't possible, I won't waste time on it.
What I wish to do is, take "ESPN's SpeedWorld" theme from the Sega Genesis, and make it play (atleast once) when I load into the game's menu.
Now, I believe the "file" I'm looking for is uimain.pmf? Cool. WTF is a pmf? It appears to be some sort of special Sony file, yay. Now from what I've learned in another post, on another forum, all you really need to do, is have a 16 bit MP3, and rename the extension to .pmf.
That's all well and good, for someone who knows what they are doing. Sadly, I'm not one of those people. I've tried multiple times to get Audacity to convert the mp3 of the music into 16 bit mp3. It keeps converting it to .wav. And then when I open it, it's still in 32 bit Float...... Of course renaming it and trying it out doesn't work.
I should also end this with, if you are one of those "expert dudes", who can't be bothered with explaining exactly what I need to do, but would rather just be snarky and offer no actual help, don't bother. The little bit of information I'm going on, was given by one of these "expert dudes", who didn't bother explaining anything, and just left me with more questions than actual good answers. Hence why I'm here asking questions.
Any actual help (other than what I just mentioned) would be very welcome.
