Nothing wrong in trying to help! Nice to see all of us here helping each other out.
I can't wait for the GN55 beta to come out either

That's the Legend series though. Similar in design to the 40s cars, but vastly different.
If the mod had been finished, I'm sure I could have bashed something together to resemble a 1940s set, but sadly, we all know how that mod went with NR2003's limitations.Definitely true. I thought the mod in the link I posted could have been suitable for actual 1940s cars because its bodies, rather than being the exact size of a Legend car, were scaled up to fit NR's hitbox.
I Googled the Dodge Magnum late 70's template and a guy by the name of Jopajoe made a 78 - 79 Doge template for the Aero88 mod. It said it was at RacinGraphics or something like that. Spelling might not be right.
I have that mod. It's basically just, as you said, the templates altered with GNS physics. Not exact for a Goody's Dash Series mod, but it's as close as anyone's come for it.There was a Goodies series for the sim at one time, shortly after the 88 mod came out, basically they altered the templates a little and gave them the BNS psyics. I can't remember who did it tho and it's probably gone now.
I've definitely spent a pretty good amount of time going through that list. There's a few other good ones out there too that deal with some of the rarer mods for the sim.If you ever wanted to know what tracks, mods, car set and just about anything else that came out for the sim, check this site http://www.nr2k3tracks.com/ some of the links still work.
There's a drag-racing mod out there. It never got out of Alpha, and you need to have the CD to run it, but it's out there. Having a Funny Car mod would be amazing though.Drag Racing and a up to date current version of NR2003.
