Yep, you're right. I'm seeing a .tga file. Are there psd. or .psp templates?

I'd like to try this mod, but I have a few questions. I have an old Nascar Heat disk from years ago, and I don't know if it still works. Is Heat available for download somewhere? And are there templates to paint for this mod? I also noticed there is a 1981 mod. That's pretty cool.

Your old CD would still work. But were allowed to use the Heat Engine and for others to download the Heat Engine for free. Like mentioned in a prior post. HeatCore comes with the Heat Engine, plus part of a beta mod, plus a few tracks all in one. So you can get heat up and running as soon as you install it.. From there just download all 3rd party mods and tracks to your hearts desire. You can also find Heats original tracks in our track database if your interested in downloading those as well.

Some of Scott's mods have templates if not just post about them.. But yes all other mod's have layered psd templates. You might also wanna check out our latest release if your into short tracks. We released our Modified Mod yesterday on Christmas.

Many times the templates are included in the mod file, check you folder...might be there...

Yes, we do have a carviewer for the newer mods that have been released the last couple of years for Heat. Normally for a mod to be added to our carviewer the Modder must request it, or painters need to request it on the TMS forums. http://themodsquad.info. I noticed you've been approved as a member over there. So, you might wanna stop by and have Scott go thru the right channels in getting all that stuff taken care of for you..

Me too!! Think we've had this conversation once before.. I would love too. I do know how to mod NR2003. But most of my buds, and the support network I have, is in Nascar Heat, and etc etc. Basically most of the guys who I mod with, mod for Heat and other sims.. I've tried to get them into NR2003.. Maybe one day.. Who knows.

I imagine those might happen eventually, it's all about what interests the people making it. I imagine the makers of the original Redline GTP mod are long gone after iRacing went after them.
