I understand....they want to make a bigger deal out of it than it's going to be, IMO.

The fastest GTP lap time was 1:35.6 by an Acura. Fastest GTD was 1:46.07 by an Aston Martin.

I'd be willing to bet that the "Garage 56 Camaro" won't finish the 24Hr of Le Mans. That's a much tougher race than Daytona. But I hope I'm wrong. Always want American made cars to fare well there.

Yeah too bad BCR acted like such a "Mr. Special Fast Guy"... He is night and day from the Aussie guy Zak we ran with a bit(John and I), and he is fast also.
He does not seem like a bad guy at all, just kind of stuck on himself. He means no malice I am sure, but is like Oil & Water with us. So yes, Bless his heart and may he find a way to be less, Arrogant(?) .

So anyway, yeah water under the bridge, concentrate on the next corner and forget about the problem with the last but learn from it.

I did read that they thought the car was about 10 seconds a lap faster than the regular NASCAR Camaros on the road course....which is surprising to me. I guess they've added some downforce and aero adjustments that aren't legal in Taxi Cab racing!

BTW, this aint your grand daddy's Taxi Cab!! I hope they run over every GTD car in the field!

Well, you know I'm a Chevy guy....so I hope it is successful. Don't think it will compete with the true sports cars at Le Mans...but we'll see. And as for a class for them someday....maybe it will go just the opposite. Maybe now that they've converted a Taxi Cab into a Real Race Car, they will adapt to Real Race Cars in NASCAR!
