I am curious about designing some more realistic night sky textures. I'm not really sure how to explain it but I have no clue how to take a high resolution sky texture from the web and convert it into a 12 sided shape, like how the default NR2003 skies are. Do I maybe need to find a 3d object and apply my desired texture to it, with the idea that it will automatically map it and 'curve' it properly?
