I mean what? They couldn't put that mess in a folder? Takes a second...was there a folder shortage?

Which one of the three or four COT mods? I use the SSWCOT mod, clean as a whistle in that folder.

SS.net COT (Car Of Tomorrow), with rear wing (2007 - 2009)
as it is described at weebly

So yes that one, but the install is an exe and it didn't have a folder...

Is there a limit to how many mods or tracks you can add in NR2003? It's been 8 years since I was "involved" and I only ever had the PWF mods installed before now. But I've been adding lots of new mods and tracks for these hotlap sessions and just got my 1st blue screen crash during a run at Daytona70rc.. Never seen that on my old laptop before. The games crashed before, but just back to desktop. This time the thing CRASHED with blue screen and auto reboot.. Anyone else have similar issues or you think it was just a random laptop fart? I ran the mod/track fine after that, but not sure I should keep adding mods and tracks, carsets, etc... Thoughts? Note: It's got plenty of HDD space. TIA! Mick

It's all up to Highbank, me I have five installs of the sim and I only had the blue screen of death way back when I first got the sim on a weak XP system.

Does multiple installs for each mod make it easier on the system you think? I've just got the 1 main NR2003 install with all the mods, then the GTP install for that one..

I find it easier, all my cup mods in 1, all gns and trucks in 1, all road course and open wheels in 1, short and dirt track cars in 1 and if I ever take the time to figure out how to get the GTP mod to run on Win10 without having to turn something off and on all the time, I have that in 1. Then when Highbank throws out a challenge I look in the 4 folders to see if I have it, I usually do, unless it came out in the last few years or I haven't thought about running there.

Just thought I'd explain something that may be a question is folk's minds...

If it seems like I'm jumping around using a bunch of different mods...I am for a reason. Even though we have just the four physics types plus the GTP, the mods were a lot of work for the teams that put them together and made them available to the community, it seems such a shame that they just get shelved and forgotten, especially when you consider that many of the newer crop of people discovering NR2003, came after the heyday of some of these mods came and went...

So it's an exposure thing, it's a honor the modders thing, it's a revival thing even...

Hope that helps this all make sense...

Just learned there is a max # of mods you can install. 16. (I imagine that means 16 mods "per" install of NR2003.) So if you do as Tigg and use multiple installs for each series, you can have 16 mods on each one.. `2` (Just read what I wrote, don't try to make sense of it) `6`

I mostly use one of my installs...in my "series" folder I have a folder called "Xtra Series" that I load all my mods into and just pull them out as I need them...put them back when I need that spot for something I'm using...

OK after that long and exhaustive discussion, we'll go with the GNS

Thanks to all who participated...
