Stunnoders! Kevin Harvick and the 4 team are handed a massive penalty for modifying a single source part! Loss of 100 driver and owner points, crew chief suspended 4 races and fined $100k, Thoughts?
This is funny because Rodney Childress will be back for phoenix, that's his next race, the last race of the year. In my opinion this was bound to happen sooner or later, Harvick's been complaining about the next gen car for weeks and now it looks like he's been blaming NASCAR for his and his teams own mistakes. As a painter this should be intresting to see what will become of that #4 car and who will drive it. Thoughts?

i'd wonder they didnt pull the same thing with Hamlin because 1. He is a big proponent of 23XI, and 2. Still in the playoffs.

Could the penalty be on the same concept as the FRM penalties? Where they got clocked for something they used to be able to do with the gen 6s....

true true, still seems like it comes at a weird time, It could be the same as FRM but I'm not sure that would make sense because each team is learning from one another. NASCAR is super vague about their penalties so I wouldn't be surprised if this is all we get.

I think he was blaming nascar for the fires on the Stang's and the the control arms snapping and the tires, I just heard of this, will they appeal.
