Allow the graphics card to make the updates to you rendgx.dll or whatever its called. Then update it with your graphics fixes. The important thing here is to not touch the bottom few lines. Those last few lines reference your graphics card and version, etc. When that mismatches with your current graphics card version during the games runtime, it will run through the graphics test again as to update your rendgx.ini through the game.

Let me know if I need to clarify on something.

Are you editing the "rend_dxg.ini" manually? I'll follow up later tonight with a visual example of what I'm talking about.

What happens in this scenario...

You open the game, click Single Race (or any option). The graphics start configuring. Once it's done. Exit out of the game. Do nothing but open it right back up. If you click another option does it try configuring graphics again?

After you update your graphics drivers the game will re-configure it's graphics and in those last few lines it will update it with the updated driver information. If you change that it will keep trying to update it. That's kind of all I know unfortunately.

What I do is after I do the graphics fix to fix the blurry graphics is I save a copy of it somewhere. Then everytime my graphics drivers update I let the game do it's thing. Go back to this .ini and update the top portion of the file with the file that I saved earlier.

I never said click another application but I'm assuming you mean you click another option like "Opponent Manager" or "Player Info". What do you mean you reset the graphics each time?

Yeah thats what i meant sorry. So lets just say i click player info. It will test my graphics card. Then i change my car. So now i want to race. I click singleplayer then it does it again. And when i race the graphics are blurry. And thanks for helping me

Let's try something else. In your Nascar Racing Season 2003 folder there should be a config application. Try running that. It will basically configure your graphics outside of the nr2003 application. After that's completed, try opening NR2003 again and see if it tries to configure yet again. You can expect blurry graphics at this point but just one step at a time.

Should looks something like this this:
