FCRD NCS2022 5 Gear Mod, Did You Get it?

Hi, I just found out there is a 5 gear mod out there that uses CTS.
Anybody here get or even here about it.
There is a video on how to install it but has no sound until the end and
I don't see it on the website where it is supposed to be.

The video shows that you have to do some work but I can't hear it.

Anybody here know of this.

I have just watched the video. This is something new and interesting.

Apart from converting cup physics to cts physics, the 5 speed gearbox comes from the modified executable? Is that correct, or have I missed something? Does this mean that using this executable, all mods with CTS physics will have a 5 speed gearbox? Does the 5 speed gearbox only appear in the FCRD 2022 mod? If someone can shed a bit of light on this I would appreciate it.

im pretty sure the 5 speed gearbox comes from the series.def file.

I don't know if this is allowed but here i share the link for the .exe's https://sellersgaming.proboards.com/thread/26/cup-1987-2022-physics, and yes, it says Cup physics but the exe's only works with .cts physics mods.
I used to play with it and the only issue i've had was having from 2-5 FPS drop at certain tracks, but it worked at least.

It will work with whatever mod you use with that .exe.

It works on all the mods with the executable and CTS physics. I'm not sure how effective it is. Probably need to play around with the gear ratios. I'm not really used to gear shifting on NASCAR tracks...

Yep that was what i was trying to clarify, sorry if anyone didn't understand my explanation.

I have created a new NR2003 instance and loaded all the track mods and it works a treat for the FCRD 2022 mod. The 5 speed gears are a really good add-on. Definitely worth spending some time on. The track ini files that are provided with the mod, give pretty good racing.

I agree. Followed the video tutorial and was amazed that i did something right that worked in the game the first time i did it. An excellent mod and those new exes have extended this games life again.
