So I recently started the Championshop mode in NR2003 and I am having a lot of fun with it, but the problem is, it's too easy. So when I am 1st place, I manage to get behind the pack again under 1-2 laps and its keeps repeating. So what is the best AI difficulty should I set to, so that it works for all tracks/races? Also, I was wondering about what number should I set pit stop frequency to?

Any responses will help.

100% is a good base line depending on the mod/car set(some car sets have the base line rating, so no matter how high you set it, you'll always be much faster). Take for instants when I run Daytona, the base mod I can run top 3, in the new 2018 mod I run top ten, in the SSnet C.O.T. mod unless I catch a big draft I run mid 20's all Cup physics, the same set and track.

Just start at 100%, run some races at different tracks(short, intermediate, speedway and super speedway) and adjust accordingly up or down in strength, don't start a season until you find a setting that challenges you.

100% sounds good, I'll give it a try. I play the game without mods though, I don't really like mods for this game. So what about the pit stop frequency thingie? How much should I set it to?

The pit stop "thingie" is how fast the fuel and tires burn off, 1X is normal, 2X is half faster(most leagues run this setting for races). if you're running full length races 1X is your best bet, if you're running half or shorter then 2X is best, if you run any higher you'll be in the pits more then on the track.

Sounds like 1x or 2x is good for me. So I tried playing with 100% AI on Talladega track and gotta say, it was bad - the rubber bending is real. So after I did couple laps in 'Dega. I decided to quit the race and then I decreased it down to 97% and then it was kinda better, but there was still rubber bend. And then I set it to 95% and it was perfect and challenging of course. So somewhere in between 95-100% is working well. Thanks for the recommendation too :)

No worries, that's what we're here for.

When you get your set up right you'll be running 100% or higher at Dega, you'll know the set up's right when you don't turn your wheel past center when turning left.

Speaking of setups, while I was playing, I was thinking if my set up was not good. The setup I always use is "fast" on most tracks. I don't know how to setup cars in racing simulators, I am a newbie pretty much. I'll do some research on setups later though.

Best advice I can give is print that out(I've had mine glued to cardboard for over 12 years) and start playing with the settings in the set ups page. push the limits, learn what the car does and doesn't do. Most people go wrong when they just play the "base game" not realizing it's more then just a game, professionals still use this training and learning tracks.

This is my set up, give it a try.

Thank you so much! Sadly I don't use a printer because there is no ink. But I can try open that setup image that you gave me, on a phone and I'll try roll with it. :) Thanks again.

Alright well, I don't know. I played around a bit with the setup, and picked some examples and it does change the car behavior quite a bit, but I don't get quite the speed that I want, always stay at 178-181 mph. Probably 2 reasons, 1. I can't figure out the best gear ratio and 2. I can't do anything to parts like Rebound, Spring and Camber on the rear part of the car, it is just transparent and can't click it, it's accessible on the front though. I don't know what the problem is.

Those settings are fixed on super speedways. To get speed on super speedways you need other cars to draft with, you'll only go a little faster by yourself without help. You're not to far off actually keep at it!
