For what it's worth, but the Time Attack mode seems to be helping me get faster. I've picked up a second over yesterdays fastest lap.

If you want to compare laptimes you should always use the same conditions. If you don't the lap times won't tell you you've improved. It might be down to

But our Lord and Mater @Highbank always changes the conditions for the race, so running "Ideal" conditions would do me no good when it comes to the race.
