sorry i was being vague, I mean a pre existing car file. Like a ford on a dodge. and if i could change it to a ford after it has been created. It depends on what you mean by "cars manufacturer"
There are four slots for body shapes; which had default names, which really bear no resemblance to what spits out the other end. You can change the skin of any thing that fits over that body shape to practically anything you want.
Datsun, Ford, Toyota, Mazda, Jaguar, Ford (Again), Mustang, Chevrolet, Gaz, Ford, Honda, Ferrari, Mercedes, Holden.
11 manufacturers.... only one body though. The game itself is quite ecumenical.
Thanks, i just was hoping for a better methodI mean you could export the image, then create a new car file and reimport the image, but in most cases it's going to look pretty gumby.
If you've kept the assets used to create the .tga, then you're better off starting again.
Its not the logo im trying to change, its the body itself. Thank you for the adviceThere's a set of stp's (or Mips) out there somewhere where it will make all the manufacturers logos not be displayed. I can't remember where I saw it, maybe someone else will know. That would probably be a better choice for you. That way you don't have to mess with trying to change over car paints from what they are on to the logo brand.
Possible, just gotta edit the car file in the NotepadOH well that's another matter altogether, not possible
Some 2006-2007 Fusions use Dodge, others use Ford, depending on the template used and what people thought was more accurate.
The icr cars are kind of ugly, just sayingIn a word... Yes.
That's one of the reasons why the ICR mod is so brilliant. Mystical thought long and hard during the process and gave us a thing which is accepting of so very many front and rear light clusters and grill sets.
And yes, to Martinrace's sage advice. I am going to have to learn some new skills. This doesn't seem insurmountable but it might take time.
