Ok, everyone be honest... What did everyone thing about the Racing at Atlanta this Weekend. The FOX TV crew said it was out outstanding racing !! REALLY!!

All I can say is NASCAR has ruined once was a Great RaceTrack. The cars can't pass, it's single file racing. I just can't stand to watch it. Now if they gave car's a little more HP, racing might improve. Anyway, the racing was Terrible, specially the Trucks and Xfinity.

Be Honest...

No.
Las Vegas, Atlanta, Kansas, Nashville, Chicagoland and Miami to a lesser extent are all roundy roundy puke buckets.

Why?

A car that is constantly turning, in order to maintain proper front end grip, either requires the nose to be kept to the ground via front end aero, or massive vanes like Sprint Cars.
Cars invariably sit behind each other at a distance, because the air on the front end, dictates that as they only logical end point.

Atlanta went to being a 1.5mi D shaped roundy roundy puke bucket after previously being a track with two longish straights. The only possible outcome is boring racing.
Now if they gave car's a little more HP, racing might improve.

The way you improve the package for a bad track like this, is to make the tyres narrower and reduce front end grip.

My suggestion would be:
600bhp
10inch wide tyres
Minimum ride height of 7 inches.
