Happy 2024 everybody! February is upon us which means it's time to waive the green flag on the 2024 racing season!
As per usual, the first race of the season is also the most unusual. This weekend's Clash at the Coliseum will be your first chance to earn Pick'em points. Those points will carry forward through to the Daytona 500, now only a couple of weeks away, and will be added to your Daytona 500 score along with all the other events during Speedweeks 2024.
Here is a breakdown of all the scoring opportunities leading up to the Daytona 500:
- 3 points each for correctly picking the winners of the Clash Heat Races 1-4
- 15 points for correctly picking the Clash at the Coliseum race winner
- 4 points for correctly picking the Daytona 500 pole sitter
- 7 points each for correctly picking the winners of the two 150 mile Daytona qualifying races
- 10 points each for correctly picking the winners of the Craftsman Truck and Xfinity Series race
There will not be any points awarded for picking the Clash's Last Chance Qualifier winner due to that race being a product of the previous heat races. The Daytona 500 will be scored under the same rules as all other Cup races.
