This is a resource pack I put together that can help anyone interested in making their own NR2003 Spotter Pack. One thing NR2003 has been sorely missing are new and unique Spotter packs. There has really only been 2-3 good and 'complete' ones. Even then they all relied on finding and piecing together real Spotter audio so the quality was not always at the same level or consistency. Spotter packs don't have to use real nascar audio. If you have your own mic and audio program you can create your own.

This resource I went in and listened to every single Spotter audio file from the original NR2003 spcc wav files and transcribed them all neatly into categories into a sheet (several hours of work). This will make it stress free and about as easy as it can be to read off the lines and make your own Spotter mic recordings. Additionally, I added extra context to what is being said so when you think of what to say for each line yourself you have a better idea what is going on and how the audio files you create will sync with the other audio files in the Spotter pack.

As always please read the README file included, it has additional important information for making a successful spotter pack

If anyone is interested in recording or making a Spotter Pack feel free to ask questions or use this thread to collaborate as well.

Thank you for these files.

In the read me it says:

Convert to 5512 HZ, 8-bit mono

If the files are any other format or frequency, it will crash the game.

This is very useful, as in the past, I have extracted the Nascar Racing 3 Radio, and after renaming all the files, (before this help came along) teamed up with the default radio/ and another with Smiffden’s radio edit, I did not know why it kept crashing. So this could be it to get it to work.

I might have a go at getting them in the right format in Audacity; I just thought it was important for others to know this as well.
