Showcasing a test of a live ticker for broadcast/streaming. This was done in real-time, not in post production. Still have work to do on it, but it does utilize GNL.tv with lots of editing to the PHP and CSS files.
NR2003 Live Ticker Test

I guess YouTube thought it was spam. I have appealed it, but in the meantime I just posted it to Imgur. The quality got degraded on there.
Well, long story short is that I work in college athletics and I used to run webcasts and create graphics for them. So i used my knowledge from what I did before and once I learned about GNL.tv this past weekend to get the live standings, I put them together!
I am using OBS to record the final video and/or to stream on Twitch. I created many new images for GNL.tv (still working on it a lot now), as well as layers like I did for my college athletic webcasts when I used Wirecast, and editing the PHP and CSS files to make it look better. In OBS I just have multiple sources and layers to get everything in the correct order as well as use chroma key and other filters.
I am able to do scrolling standings as well as the newer side-standings that NASCAR currently uses. The only issue with all of the info coming from GNL.tv is that when it refreshes, there will be a slight refresh flash with the flag and the side-standings.
Before I go too far, I want to get the scrolling standings 100% completed before diving back into the side-standings. This will be great for me to use for mock seasons or my offline owners league I am trying to get off the ground as it will be more dynamic looking depending on the year/mod that is being used.

Here is a screenshot of my most up-to-date version. I think I am happy with how it looks. Might make the Speed and NR2003 logos a little smaller.
Was able to add number cards for the drivers. Think it is looking much better.
Its only for external live streaming/broadcasts. The in-game UI cannot be edited to be this complex (unfortunately).
I mean, you could just use the OBS screen as your racing view if you have a second monitor to see it while racing. Personally, that would be distracting to me as I am focused on the race.
Here is an update for those following along. A very early version of the NASCAR.com ticker that is used for the full race replay. Hoping YouTube doesn't give me problems again with the videos. I also included a screenshot if the video goes down and I need to appeal again.
I ran a test with the most recent ticker and updates to it on Twitch not too long ago. It is probably as good as it will get. Anyone that is interested in seeing how it looked can go there and just search my channel name (WanderingVermonter) to find the video. Not sure if linking to my channel is allowed. No sound was included. Just did a 60 lap race to see how it all worked out.
Also, it will not work with the replay studio in NR2003. It has to be the live race to work correctly.

I'd love a tutorial on how to do this. My CSS and html skills are at almost none, and there's just something I'm not getting when It comes to editing GNL.TV. When I put the code into a CSS editor, it looks nothing like it does on the real site. I'm probably doing something wrong but I don't even know what to Google, lol.
