Some tips that I have since I've spent some time doing stuff for that mod:
- Since you're trying to do a 2020 set I'd put everything on the car 1 (ferrari) model, as its the only one with a low nose
- The area of the nose section near the sidepod opening and around the cockpit is frankly very annoyingly prone to warping. If you don't have a 3D painting program, any car with a livery that goes from the nose to the side(pods) of the car will take
a lot of patience and aligning (like the Haas, Williams, maybe the Mercedes)
- The Racing Point will be a real pain in the butt since there's a big BWT logo you'll have to align across 3 differently sized panels on each side of the car.
- There's a bunch of small bits on the template around the driver and front wing. Those are mostly the edges of the winglet, the things that connect the nose and front wing, and (IIRC) mirrors. Note that you won't be able to put logos on these places because they'll be just way too small to be distinguished.
Overall it'll take an immense amount of patience to work with the mod, even more if you're planning to make shading (because no template I'm aware of has any). Like all things though, it gets easier with practice.
Looking forward to what comes of it!
