Does anyone have suggestions on how to tweak (or can provide a tweaked one) Indianapolis INI to prevent crashes every second lap?
I drive with AI set to 105% and opponents use to cut the way each other or loose grip especially on turn 1 and 4 - ending up with cutting the way to others - resulting in crashes every second lap.
It's frustrating not to be able to drive even five laps in a row without getting yellow flags.
Thanks!

Hiya SK,
Try this, I tried on Gen6 and it was wrecking bad in one to two laps.
This made it better and may make them more stable to race with?
I forgot to check the Q times to see if and how it affected their lap time.
Not sure if this will be what you like or not and how it will work on a different mod. :)
Of course rename the file inside to track.ini. did it to reduce the chance of inadvertent overwrite of original.
OR just copy and overwrite the "[ ai_track ]" section after making a backup in either case so as not to disturb any other settings.
Peace!

Sooo I tried your track ini and it worked much better, with the only downside that AI used to brake too much on turns (so I was able to gain 1 second per lap).
I ended up with something in between the default track.ini and yours, and now it's pretty good to me. Well.. I need to say that from time to time AI still ends up into some rearending, but way less than with the default ini, and at the same time they don't brake excessively on turns. I need to say also that AI challenges each other much more now - maybe it's just a feeling.
Please find attached my new track.ini for Indianapolis (vanilla version)

Great! glad it helped and kind of gave you another reference to compare with to get it closer to what you want. :)

I was surprised that they were so bad at holding on with just a bit more Strength setting.
Happy Holidays!
