Flying Cars

i noticed there wasnt a thread on the subject of flying cars so here is this.

anyways my main thoughts on flying cars and my reasons for why i thing they aren't needed

1. it would be near impossible to stop mid air and even if it were possible i doubt it would be worth the amount of money it would cost just for the stopping mechanism alone.

2. car crashes would be much more catastrophic.

0. Oh dear, gravity.

A 1000kg car needs a force of roughly 10,000N to hold it still.

This is not an easy task; especially without the solid surface of the ground helping.

yea, it would be near impossible, would be better off giving everyone planes
