I know that this one isn't perfect but I had to recreate many of the logos featured on this truck which was quite a difficult task for myself.

As someone who paints many ARCA, ARCA East, and ARCA West cars, as well as various older carsets, the process of creating many logos from scratch for a single car is something I do a lot. I would say getting used to that process has made me a much better painter. You did a very good job with this truck!

Same here with me working on various backmarkers from various years. Basically nothing from Eric McClure's 2005 #73 exists, so I had to do a lot of scratch work. Same with my project to recreate the various fantasy sponsors/numbers from various NASCAR games, which basically ALL have to be scratch made.

I was re-watching the 2011 Nationwide Series race from Road America where Justin Allgaier nearly won the race before unfortunately running out of gas on the final lap. Decided to spend the rest
of the day recreating that very car.

Hey everyone, this year I wasn't planning on doing too many 2022 Xfinity cars but when I saw this one I knew I had to do it.

I do have a quick question if you guys don't mind answering, which render do you guys prefer, the top new approach, or the bottom classic approach? Any feedback is appreciated!

They both look great. I'd vote for the bottom render only because it looks more like a professional studio shot of a real car.

I like the top because of the colors. It is already halfway to a good looking hero card and as is makes nice desktop wallpaper material.

Both renders are nice, but I like the angle on the top one because you can see more of the car.

Decided to give myself a challenge by trying out Brandon Jones' YeeYee car he ran twice this year, then decided to do a few more after.

Excellent work. Was dreading on doing the Yee Yee car. You nailed it. WTG!

EDIT: P.S. thnks for doing the #10 for next season. My next project was doing the previews of 2022. I've got the 8 and 2, you knocking out the 10 is great. Thanks.

Happy New Years Everybody! I sure did learn a lot this year when it comes to painting and I hope to expand my knowledge even further in 2022. I'm thinking about dabbling with fictional schemes in 2022 to see if I can actually make anything good myself and am not just copying other peoples work. Still messing around with blender and its lighting to see if I can find any cool render scenes so here are just a few...

I'm not one to normally do fictional schemes but decided to do one for Dawson Cram who is looking for sponsorship so he can run an Xfinity car next year. Ain't anything special but I'm satisfied with how it came out.
