So I took my NR2003 Busch85 cars from Zoom Racing World and stuck 'em on the Aero 88 mod conversion to AC that the boys over at the YouTube Assetto Corsa NASCAR Mods page put together...and took some out (together with some of the in-mod carsat Auto Club Speedway to see how they felt...

Cars have virtually no brakes at speed...I had no set-up in and I wouldn't miss the brakes if i had a good turning set up in

Heya,
Messed with it a bit the other day, pretty cool!
Lotta front end push, did not really mess with the setup though.

One odd thing, my cockpit view is funky, it is like I am either a Cat or a Gnome sitting on the car seat... The steering wheel is big in front of me and I have to look up to see the windshield and see mostly sky and not whats ahead LOL. went to hood view to drive it.
Did it do to you too?
Thanks!
Peace,
D

You can adjust the view by using the "onboard settings" down the list of 'stuff' when you put your mouse on the right side of the screen. It brings up menus and you can adjust the seat in all directions as well as the tilt of the view, up and down.
My question, and this goes for all NASCAR/stock car mods is, "How do you adjust the wedge?". I have not been able to find a way to add or adjust the wedge or the left/right weight in AC so if you know a way to do that, please let me know where you found it or how to do it. I'm trying to make/adjust some cars and figure out how to bring my rF cars over to AC but am having a hard time finding physics and other information (like how to adjust the redline) so any help is appreciated.

Heya Ziggy,
Ha that was some time ago but at least you/someone responded to it now. :p :)
Yeah I think at that time I just had started doing AC and setup all that stuff and did not know you can adjust the seat and angle and all.
Thanks!!

I had forgotten about this, have to look at it again.
Take care and talk to you again later.
Peace!
Blitz
:)
