2024 Zoom Racing World: Weekly Challenge

After a lot of thought and conversations within the community, we’re happy to announce that Stunod Racing will not be shutting down. The incredible support we’ve seen from all of you has played a huge role in this decision, and we’re truly grateful to everyone who values and contributes to what makes this community so special.
We’ve been exploring ways to manage the costs of keeping Stunod Racing up and running, as the current expenses felt unsustainable. We considered moving conversations to Discord or creating a standalone site for file hosting, but those options didn’t really fit what most of the community wants or the experience we aim to provide.
Here’s the plan moving forward: Stunod Racing will remain open, but we’ll be making some changes to how files are hosted. There will be a few upfront costs during this transition, but these updates will help reduce our expenses over time and make things more manageable in the long run. We’ve been working with a few members and programmers to figure out the best solutions, and while there are still some details to iron out, we’re confident we’re heading in the right direction.
Thank you for sticking with us and being patient as we work through these changes. With your support, we’ll ensure Stunod Racing continues to be a place for creativity, collaboration, and connection in the racing community.

Go Avs! I'd love to see the Avs and Caps in the Final but Avs will choke, again, so "Go Caps!".. "Capitals, Capitals, Washington Capitals" Mick, you're from the DC area, right? So.. You know "The Greaseman"? If so, you may have appreciated a "Deliverance" bit on the discord I did last night.. "The movie Deliverance is an anology of life. Nice win Mike! Those first couple of laps, running door to door and nose to tail were scary fun but once that 'Cuda started to run, I could never reel it in. Jeb, we gotta figure out that Camaro. It should be pretty quick so let me know if there were issues with it or if you were just babying it.
Bitz, the results show you in a Cougar...? What's up with that? You were in the Firebird.. And just how much damage are you doing for your repairs to cost 8 laps? I thumped the wall a couple of times, overrevved and probably hurt the suspension with some offs and it only took about 26 seconds to fix it all...
Oh, question about the mod... You all want 46 second (real) 4 tires stops or the 22 second (4 tire changers in game) stops? I can adjust either way and as I mentioned, an article said Penske's crew laid down a 26 second 4 tire stop, once, for rain tires (no fuel) so I'm pretty sure all 5 over the wall were doing tires, or the 'journalist' was embellishing since every other 4 tire stop I've ever heard of was 40+ seconds.

Sorry I missed you guys.. I looked at Blitz' "live timing page" and there was 2 laps to go. But, it showed you guys going around the track map on the right, but the details that are usually on the left of the screen (names, running order, laps, etc) was blank?? Not sure why.
Oh yea, I know Greaseman! DC101 "Buddy Buddy Buddaay!!" lol And no worries on a Caps/Avs Cup matchup. We're lucky to even be in the playoffs. -37 goal differential, worst in history to ever make the playoffs!

Pit stop times. Im not sure if it adds the tire time to the fuel time, or do they work simultaneously? Either way, it should take longer to get tires and fuel, than just 1 or the other. Did the TransAm cars run endurance races? I doubt many (but us) will be having pit stops during races. But if someone did happen to run a long race and need to stop, maybe the realistic times would be a nice breather?? Either way, don't matter to me.. Looking forward to checking out the new cars!! 68 Cuda should be in the mail today...

Yeah was triple weird cuz I thought for sure I chose a Mustang when I jumped out and switched cars, I know I did not click on the F-Bird.
Clicked on `Stang, put me in bird, shows me in the Cougar LOL.
I was in the Cougar at first then I switched.

The RS of Practice right when it was about to go to race with 0 on the countdown may have confused it also. Yep, really like the cars Ziggy.
Just need to get my focus back and drive as well as I was starting to a bit back.
May do the TA2 for a change next Wednesday as suggested. Don't know.
But want to do these too. They will always be up for Mondays unless something comes up.
I think I forgot to set the server on something last night, checking now and will put it to the RTA's at Goodwood for further testing.

I seem to have a hard time NOT making it flash the engine over-rev almost every other time for some reason... Not much other damage...
Can shift the heck outta a real car and clutch-less shift also.

Well, they called a bit over an hour ago from the Doctors Office and said there was a problem and that my appointment is rescheduled. Been trying to get this wrist taken care of for almost ten years now... unreal.
